Inspired by the moody charm of New Orleans and the mystery of Low Country, we created a wedding that felt like stepping into another world. The design blended Southern character with unexpected, mystical details, incorporating taxidermy, tarot, magic, and a touch of the supernatural throughout the celebration.

Every element was intentional. From the atmosphere and décor to the unique details that encouraged guests to explore and experience something unexpected, the wedding reflected the couple’s personalities and their willingness to think outside the traditional wedding box.

This Doors-Inspired Dinner Party hosted at The Sunset House LA was one to remember! We hosted some of the top event industry professionals and transcend into a realm where culinary artistry meets musical mastery.

As the evocative melodies of The Doors fill the air in the light-filled dining room of The Sunset House, each course is thoughtfully paired with a selection of libations that harmonize perfectly with the mood and tempo of the music. Throughout the evening we sang along to timeless classics of The Doors, curated to enhance the dining experience and transport you to a place where music and gastronomy intertwine.

For this particular wedding, Emmy and Cory wanted to escape bustling Los Angeles and have an intimate elopement with a private Chef and killer vendor team!

We started the morning with a memorizing sunrise, french pressed coffee, sounds of Fleetwood Mac followed by hair and makeup. Cory had a chance to relax with his pups and have a cigar as he awaited Emmy at the alter. It was a dream to plan this intimate celebration at Stepladder Creamery.
